Our Many Christmas Celebrations!

Published Friday, January 08, 2010 by Elisha Larsen

Disclaimer – I just read through this again. It doesn’t all make sense and it’s not how I would want to post it…BUT I don’t have the time or energy to re-write everything :). So this is what you get…if I perfected all my posts I might never get anything posted. LOL!

I know this is a little late and frankly I don’t have time to write about our wonderful Christmas. Let me just say that is was wonderful and we were so blessed this year. I hope I can write more later…but before Christmas is so far gone that it seems silly to write about it. For now, here are some pictures!

On Christmas Eve, daddy let Evelyn open a couple gifts early. The first were her Christmas jammies. She loves penguins so she loved her new jams. Then daddy got her a big boom pillow…which she LOVED!

Our yummy Christmas morning breakfast. I felt well enough to prepare it for everyone. David’s request – German Babies, bacon and eggs. I forgot to take a picture of the German Babies right out of the oven but it was a good one. Evelyn even liked it…of course she did, it’s topped with powdered sugar! – too bad her wheat sensitivity didn’t agree with her stomach :(

Fun present opening on Christmas morning. David bought his girls so many special things. I got a beautiful necklace with delicate little diamonds. So sweet. The first time I’ve gotten jewelry from him since our honeymoon. So special. So pretty! I LOVE it, but I LOVE him more!!!!!

Our family dinner with Jeremiah, Molly, Sophie, Lucas (in Molly’s belly) and Gramma Terri. David made everything and it was just perfect!

The girls had fun playing.

A new tradition of baskets…will explain later.

I tricked David with some really practical gifts. Black socks, white shirts, work shirts…which he actually loves but then I gave him his real present. His face in the picture on the right says, “No way, you bought me a Zune HD?” I sure did! And the best part? I actually saved the money for it!!!!

Elijah Bunyan was our BEST Christmas gift this year! We give all the glory, honor and praise to a gracious and loving Heavenly Father for entrusting him to us!

Poor little EB had to spend most of his Christmas on top of some alien lights to help clear his jaundice…but he didn’t seem to mind :)

Our photo session for our Christmas cards. Yes, he smiles…no, it’s not just gas…he actually smiles :) – awww…I love my kids!

Our little family celebration of opening stockings. A little after Christmas but it was the first time it worked out for all of us to be on the right schedule.

Elijah’s first bath. Right before his first (and only) circumcision.

After his circumcision we headed up to Pittsburg and then to Grass Valley to celebrate with more family!

Evelyn had fun playing with her cousins.

Both kids had fun hanging with Papa Tim and Papa Stu.

Two very special gifts from two very special men. The necklace from David and a pair of REAL UGGs from my Father-in-law. What a blessed girl I am! Love you both and thanks so much!

And a special thanks to my mother-in-law, Gwen, for my ESV journaling Bible. I LOVE it!

The videos speak for themselves :-)

Merry Christmas!
